Reading spiritual books is one of the best ways to nourish your spirit and soul. We will meet the books that we need for our expansion and progression in our life.
Here is a list of books that I would recommend for a spiritual healing process.
By Eckhart Tolle
One of the most well-known books of all time.
What makes this book special is that it explains the importance of Being Present and the healing power of Now. Also, it explains how our pain-body is formed and how it affects our entire life.
I read this book back in 2006, shortly after my first Vipassana 10-day meditation retreat. This book was recommended by a friend I met at the retreat.
Ever since, it's been one of the most inspiring books to me. If you find yourself on the journey of spiritual healing, this book would be a good start.
By Eckhart Tolle
The second book by Eckhart has been one of the most inspiring books in my life.
Eckhart is one of the earliest people who started mentioning a new earth concept, in my opinion. ;-)
Initially, this book didn't make much sense to me when I read it in 2007. Now that I’ve read it again, wow, everything he says makes perfect sense. It is amazing.
Highly recommended for those who want to make changes in their lives in this new era.
By David R. Hawkins
This book introduces the idea of Conscious Level of humans and power of love. One of the most inspiring books that explains how humans behave and why.
If you are exploring your inner world and working on yourself, this book is a MUST read.
By Leonard Jacobson
I read this book in 2016 and wish I read it earlier. It would have saved me a lot of time.
Having said that, it's never too late.
Leonard gives very clear guidance on spiritual awakening in this book. He too emphasizes the importance of Being Present and the healing power of Present Moment.
If you read The Power of Now by Eckhart and find it too difficult, you may want to try this one.
By Teal Swan
This book is a culmination of Teal's YouTube videos on various topics about the healing process. I found it very convenient to have it in a hard copy.
Teal laid out 18 steps of the healing process and calls it a Completion Process. Eighteen steps are little bit too many, to be honest.
She explains all the important concepts of healing such as projections, shadow-selves, Being Present and so forth, if you are new to healing (self-healing), it's probably a good idea to read this book.
By Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
This is such a sweet, beautiful story that I would recommend it to anyone! A story of the little prince who found himself alone and started his adventure on earth.
I love the art of this book too. :-)
The author of this book, Antonio, was an adventurer. Such people tend to be very good at exploring their inner world. This little prince story too, is a fruit of his adventure of his own world.
Hindu Classic. A very well-known spiritual book.
I love the story, especially the dialog between Krishna and Arjuna when Arjuna suffers with his own destiny, and slowly makes his own decisions to accept his destiny as a man. It's inspiring, encouraging and empowering.
I didn't realize that we (my partner and I) have three or more copies of this book at home. :-)
By Richard Bach
I recommend Richard's books because I feel that they are very inspiring on some deep level. Worth reading.
I read this book and another book by Richard called One when I was in high school. They were somewhat shocking, although I couldn't articulately point out why.
Lately, I’ve read yet another book of his called Illusions II. The word 'illusion' represents the illusion of duality. This book too is very inspiring.
If you are looking for some fresh inspiring books to read, I would recommend Richard.
By Enrique Barrios
This book was written by a Spanish man in the 80s. Wow, amazing spiritual book about a boy named Ami who came from outer space with a UFO.
Ami knows everything that we want to know and he can do anything that we want to do. He reveals the secret of life and the Universe.
Though this book was written for children, I certainly enjoyed it and was helped by it.
The image is a Spanish version, you can get a copy of the English version here.
